Bike restoration is a form of creative rebellion. The bike industry constantly pushes newer technologies and designs tested on the racing elite creating a an ever growing pile of ‘obsolete’ bikes. However the fundamental ‘tech’ behind bikes hasn’t improved in 40 years.

Taking old bikes and giving them new life not only teaches practical skills such as bike maintenance but it also a cost effective mode of transportation.

A new bike is pristine yet an old bike is a blank canvas. An invitation to reinvent or remix.
